How will the Inclusion Support Facilitators help us?
Inclusion Support Facilitators will:
- respond to requests and referrals for inclusion support from child care services identify practices that facilitate inclusion of children with additional needs in child care settings
- assist child care services in developing Service Support Plans
- provide or source information in response to identified needs
- assist services in linking with relevant community groups, services and organisations
- support child care services to work in partnership with families and local support networks
- assist child care services in identifying their professional development needs and opportunities
- support services to engage in ongoing reflective practices and continuous improvement.
