Assistance from CAERSU ISA

To successfully incorporate inclusive practices, you may require:

  • Information or resources,
  • Linkages and networking,
  • Support and Advice,
  • Coaching and Mentoring,
  • An additional worker (to assist in the environment so you can focus on inclusive practices to ensure all children are being included),

These are just some of the ways that CAERSU ISA can assist you. We aim to assist you to access a range of practical and quality support and assistance (in line with nationally consistent guidelines), that is:

  • Responsive to your needs and those of the children in care, including those from the identified priority groups which are:
    • children from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, including refugee children;
    • children with ongoing high support needs, including children with a disability;
    • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
  • Delivered flexibly to ensure they are:
    • responsive to local needs;
    • accessible to all eligible services;
    • culturally appropriate; and
    • cost effective.
